Canadians are Part of the Global Effort to Fund a Cure
CFOPN has raised over $850,000.00 to date thanks to the generosity and hard work of families, friends and their communities.
Money raised raised by Canadians through grass roots events and employee giving programs, gifts in memory, etc. supports research at the FOP Lab at the University of Pennsylvania and at the University of Alberta through an ACT Grant partnership with the International FOP Association (IFOPA). We are thrilled to fund important work being done in Canada! CFOPN is a 100% volunteer organization mandated by the CRA to donate at least 80% of our proceeds to fund research. Additional funds are used to seed fundraising events, educate Canadians and increase awareness about Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva. Thank you for helping us make history and for caring for such an ultra-rare genetic condition. |
